I’ve owned a few Android compatible smart watches in the past (Huawei Watch and Galaxy Watch Active 2) and have played around with several others and I can confidently say this is by a mile the best smart watch ever available to Android users. The new OS is really beautiful (why did it take so long to finally get here?), the performance with the new processor is incredibly snappy (I’ve yet to experience any lag), the aesthetic is perfect for my taste (Galaxy Watch 4 Classic), and the rotating bezel is so satisfying to use (the build quality is super premium). The selection of health sensors is really impressive and so far seem to work well, and now Google Maps, Google Pay, and Android Messages are available via the Play Store.
If you are at all interested in owning a smart watch and are an Android user please don’t waste your time with any other smart watch. At least at the time of writing this review the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic are the only reasonable choice. I’ve used various Apple Watches and was always openly envious of iPhone users for having such a great smart watch platform. In my opinion this watch matches up with the Apple Watch Series 6 extremely well. Thank you Samsung and Google for FINALLY putting out a smartwatch that is worth the money.

I got the watch and after my first night of having it I wore it to sleep to track my sleep. I woke up with a burn mark from it. After remembering how Samsung had an issue with the galaxy note batteries exploding I called Samsung to let them know. I explained what happened, was placed on hold, transfered, and hung up on. I got nowhere, have an appointment with my doctor in two days about it. The burn mark in the picture the tissue underneath my skin is raised. I wouldn’t recommend getting this watch because more than likely I’ll now have a scar here the rest of my life.

This watch is a beauty. That’s about it!
PROS: 1. Watch is pretty. 2. Watch tracks time and weather and sleep (so does my 40 dollar Mi Watch)
3. Watch has notifications and texting and email (OMG…..no)
Cons: I solely bought this watch as a fitness watch. I took it for a 4 hour endurance biking ride. Mind you, bluetooth is OFF, NFC is off, but GPS is on to track mileage, average speed and heart rate is on for calorie count.
THIS WATCH DIED in 2 hours!!! TWO….HOURS!!!! It was put on at 100% straight from the charger to my hand and start of the bike ride. This was such a bull**** product. Samsung went half-a** on this. I returned it last week and will have to look at the new Fossil watch.
In essence: DO NOT BUY THIS WATCH. DO NOT BELIEVE the tech “guru” reviews who only use it for a day or two. What a load of crap

Mis primeras impresiones sobre el reloj inteligente de Samsung clásico de 46 es fácil de usar cómodo en la muñeca muy elegante. lo compre ya que el vendedor hacia referencia a que es modo E.U y principalmente por sus funciones de salud ya que lo compare con otros y el Samsung trae medir la presión arterial más la funcion de electrocardiograma que otros no traen pero al momento de escoger idioma no trae mi región que es México y tampoco la de Estados Unidos para registrarme tuve que escoger Guatemala ya que las opciones que me daba eran regiones de centro América como: Colombia, Chile, Perú, etc….. como no utilizo mucho la funciones de GPS la batería me dura unas 36 hrs

El reloj me encantó, tiene muy buenas funciones y con el cambio de correas y caratula lo puedes hacer ver según la ocasión (Deportivo, casual, etc.). El gran problema es que no es compatible con la red celular de México, al menos no con telcel. Estoy revisando si funciona con otra compañía, si funciona me cambio porque en verdad necesito el LTE. No se si la culpa es de Samsung o de Telcel pero me llevé una gran decepción.

I don’t have any complaints like other folks. IMO there is no issue with battery life. I think folks complaining probably have tons of apps running all at one time, a rougue watchface, and AOD on. This is a watch not a wearable computer. My battery lasts about 3 days with a stock Samsung watchface and only BT turned on.
Word of warning for folks thinking they can travel with this watch, the LTE bands in the US are usually not the same ones avaialble overseas and you are not going to find many pre-paid eSIMS for it, if any. Having said that LTE is not fully necessary and getting a prepaid SIM for your phone is far easier as it has many more LTE bands than the watch.
Again I have no issues with the watch. Even the stock silicon band is fine IMO despite reading all kinds of compaints about irritation. I think you have a skin problem if its irritating you.
This watch does lack the BP capabilties avaialble overseas as Samsung is dragging its feet on pushing for FDA approval.
It is far better than an ugly square shaped Apple watch. If you are a fanatic for measurements and details then a Garmin watch may suit you better but you won’t have LTE nor WearOS if that is important to you.
Additionally, this is a luxury not a necessity. If you have a smartphone all that is happening is the notiffications and call ability has been transferred to your wrist. You can’t be that lazy but if you are willing to spend nearly 4 Benjamins on a watch, then consider getting it.

If you’re into the samsung bloatware experience then by all means go for it. There are absolutely no pros about this watch but here are the cons:
1) battery won’t last a day
2) Does not work with Wear OS, it will get detected and the progress is stuck. Watch is connected with limited usability
3) requires the full bloatware from Samsung so be prepared to create samsung accounts and have all your vital stats at the mercy of a Korean giant.
4) First install the Samsung Wearable app and make sure you give it ALL the permissions else it will fail and you’re get constant notifications even after you;’ve corrected the permissions. Then install the Samsung Watch 4 Plugin app and agains give it all permissions. Then you need to install the Samsung Health app and even that needs access to your phone.
5) After installing 3 Samsung apps and 2 samsung accounts, you will now experience degraded battery life on your phone
6) Samsung Health does not sync with Google Fit. So forget about trying to get that to work without installing another 3rd party app.
7) No Google Assistant on the watch
8) No Google Pay on the watch
So basically nothing Google works on this watch. So what’s even the point and all the fuss about?

El reloj llegó en perfecto estado, a tiempo y sin ningún problema aparente. Al empezar el proceso de emparejamiento, el primer detalle es que no aparece México como región (compré la versión USA). Después de decenas de intentos de emparejamiento, el proceso nunca pudo concluir y siempre apareció un mensaje de “no es posible emparejar su dispositivo”. Después leí en algunas reseñas que el producto solo funciona con usuarios de AT&T. Este producto no debería estar disponible para México. Solo como referencia, anteriormente tuve un Galaxy Active 2 y funcionó relativamente bien durante un año. Mi celular es un iPhone 8. Finalmente, no puedo devolverlo por razón de que la política de devoluciones lo califica como “artículo que genera gases o puede explotar”, siendo que hay otros smart watch que si pueden ser devueltos. Amazon debería hacer notar esto antes de la compra. Dinero desperdiciado.
