For the price of this wee player its great the volume is more powerful then my Sony HiFi Mp3 player which plays Hi Res files, this ones much louder just what I needed as I need to run it through my guitar amp for practice with backing tracks. Anther good thing is its very user friendly I didn’t need to read the manual to get up and going. Buttons are very active not slow and react straight away. Songs play in the order they are meant too which is another essential feature for me as I need them in order. Its feels kinda cheap and light but I dont care as long as it does the job. Playing wav files sound great. Love it so far. You also get earphones with this but I haven’t used them.

Really good value ,good sound now I’ve changed the earphones for bud type.
Battery life is excellent lasted just over the month with 2 hours+per day really easy to use and all the features I need ,like to listen to discworldbooks as I’m out for a walk
Again good all round and value for money

Words well, good sound quality, good interface, good screen, good features, and a modest price for what it offers. With the addition of a micro-SD card you get lots of capacity and the devise does not artificially limit how many files and directories it can recognize, which is not true of some MP3 players. The one-star for the touch screen rating is simply because it does not have a touch screen, not because there is anything wrong with the screen it does have.

I’ve had this music player for a few weeks and I really like it a lot. Unlike an iPod this AGPTEK is very inexpensive and oozes value:

    – Small form-factor, similar to an iPod nano.
    – Very lightweight which is great for travel.
    – Sound quality is fantastic. I can’t tell the difference between the AGPTEK’s playback quality and the iPod’s.
    – Outstanding battery life. Some of the specs on Amazon say 50-70 hours of battery life and I believe it based on some of my own testing.
    – Has played every media file I’ve thrown at it so far.
    – Has a side-loadable uSD card slot supporting cards up to 128GB. If you have more than 128GB of music (wow!) then you can swap out cards in a snap.
    – Can mount (connect) to your computer through a standard micro USB cable and read from/write to the uSD card just like any other USB drive.
    – Has an FM radio built in which is nice when traveling abroad and curious about whats on the airwaves.
    – Can make small voice note recordings using the tiny built in mic.
    – Turned on/off with a simple toggle switch at the base of the device. No wondering if its really off.
    – LCD is the ideal size, not too big to add dimensions to to the device and not too small that its hard to read what is playing, etc.
    – Wide range of colors available. The blue one I got has a “soft-touch” coating which adds a non-slip property to the device.

There are a few areas where the product could be improved however since I do not think any of these detract from the overall usability (for me) it would be unreasonable to subtract a star over them:

    – LCD screen is quite low-resolution and low frame rate. I just play music and it displays titles and album art and its perfect for that. You supposedly can play movies on the device but you’d really have to hate yourself to watch them on this 1in screen!
    – Menu navigation together with control wheel layout is a bit odd and takes some getting used to at first. After a bit of use you get the hang of it and can get anywhere you want pretty quickly.
    – The edge around the front face of the device would have been a bit more aesthetically and tactilely pleasing if it was a bit more rounded.

Overall this music player is great for traveling and for keeping your music collection within reach. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone but especially I recommend this for the travelers out there!

If you’re just looking for a simple MP3 player to fit your basic listening needs then this is it. It’s only 8 gb and I was able to fit about 600 songs with still a lot of space left. If you need more space, you can fit a micro sd card in a side slot on the player. I’m using a Sandisk 32gb micro sd. The only thing with the slot is there’s no cover. The material isn’t special and the graphics isn’t that great but the sound quality is amazing. I have not tried putting e-books on it yet but I’m sure it would go well with this.

Lets be real- if you are interested in a cheapo sound holder this is your best bet. I use it for audio books i took from the internet that are ususally in the format of a single twelve hour track, so i really like the bookmarking feature that can save my place. I formerly had the red color which I liked because I could trick people into thinking i got it as a prize in a childs meal, but I would recomend the blue one for adults because it has a soft texture and a little bit more weight. 5/5 stars will recomend.

This item is cheap so I didn’t have great expectations. The menu is a little quirky to use and takes a while to get used to. For example if you want to change volume -if you haven’t done anything for a few seconds then nothing happens the first time you push a button. Press volume a second time and the change volume dial comes up -only then can you adjust the volume.
I kind of got used to it though.
However a week ago (after having owned the device for under 6 weeks it started losing connection with the computer in a random way making downloading my podcasts very hit-and-miss. Changing leads did not work -examining the usb socket there seemed to be a slight corrosion on the internal terminals…

Seems I have missed the deadline for returns so hence the 1 star -under 2 months is not a good lifetime even for cheapo stuff

This product is by far one of the best music players I have ever seen. The design allows you to not only import audio files, but mp4 (video) and .jpg (picture) files as well! It also is incredibly easy to navigate and allows you to shuffle, create playlists, set it on repeat, go to the radio, play a certain artist, etc. I got this for a place I would be unable to use my smart phone in, but I ended up using it far past that due to the long battery life, sleek and small design, and the sheer quality of the product. This MP3 player is a must buy!

I was hesitant in getting this because I have always loved my apple iPods. But when I lost my last iPod I wasn’t about to spend a fortune replacing it. I purchased one of these and I have been very happy. Relatively easy to use – FYI, the power button is on the bottom side of the unit – LOL – that was the hardest part for me to figure out! Easy to load music – no more need to transfer to iTunes and then to your ipod – you can drag your music right into the Agptek. There are few other functions like stopwatch, calendar, alarm, but do you really need those? If you just need a good music device and don’t want to burn up your cell phone’s battery – this is the one I recommend

As described boxed well and delivered sooner than stated.Came with some charge and one song for testing which was useful. Headphones are basic but work well. No easy way to transfer lots of music without sd card and we loaded 800 songs then the gadget froze for some reason and after some efforts we had to re format it! Nearly sent it back! Two hours wasted. It did take the music the second time. Time will tell if it happens again?! The buttons are a bit “boxy” but for the price it is ok

This is a GREAT little player. I was extremely surprised at what this little player will do. I was dismayed at the fact that my Windows 10 computer would not recognize it, I then loaded all my music on a 32GB SD card and I was good to go. I love the features on it, including the FM radio and will probably purchase another for my wife to use.
UPDATE: The problem I had with my computer not recognizing this player was resolved. It was the USB cord. I will now give this little player a 5+ rating. As I said earlier, it’s a GREAT little plalyer and I love it.

This works great for what I needed it to do. It’s compact, simple and easy to use. Once I updated my phone it no longer had a headphone jack so I wanted something to use in my van for my daily compute. It holds a large amount of songs, loads quickly and is the perfect size to slip in your pocket or purse. Screen is more clear than what the picture shows. Lighting wasn’t the best in my van.
